Service Description

• Effective people management, advice and care in ensuring activities and outcomes are delivered • Performing risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope • Establishing and maintaining appropriate risk-based monitoring processes that are proportionate to the firm's operations' scale, nature, and complexity • Developing internal procedures in line with the requirements of FCA/PRA legislation/handbook and the relevant industry guidance • Documenting your firm’s risk-based strategies and the basis for the risk assessment and monitoring process • Keeping up to date with, and remaining competent with relevant financial services laws, regulations and best practice • Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies and its impact on risk management • Ensuring that findings through appropriate tools and techniquess are recorded and followed up with SMCR or management so that issues can be addressed and rectified • Educating employees on not only the regulations, but also the impact on the organisation if these aren't complied with - integrity and impact of non-complaince • Investigating irregularities and non-compliance issues as the firm becomes aware • Reporting back to the appropriate individual, SMCR role, orbusiness function on current risk and compliance performance • Highlighting or escalating areas of concern • Designing and implementing robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation • Reviewing marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements • Assisting in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory and law enforcement requests • Performing and delegating various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing administrative projects) • Collaborating with other departments and external partners to create a culture of compliance, awareness and visibility.
